Jasmine Jackson is a graduate of Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She was the recipient of the Life Scholarship, Academic Competitiveness Grant and was also on the Dean’s List. Her performance experience was honed by performing in the Winthrop University Chamber Orchestra, Winthrop University String Quartet, and Winthrop University Opera Productions. Jasmine Jackson holds a membership to Delta Omicron Professional Music Fraternity and is an established and productive violin teacher and you will be delighted to study with her.
Stefania Alb is a church musician and is experienced with piano and voice. She is capable of teaching all styles of music from classical, pop, gospel, and contemporary music. Her lessons are structured to focus on music theory, scales harmony, finger technique, rhythm skills, repertoire, ear training and improvisation.
Leah McGuirk is currently pursuing her degree in music and is a very talented music instructor. She has years of experience and knowledge preparing students for performances, examinations, auditions and festivals. Ms. Leah has experience in all styles of music and looks forward to teaching music lessons.
Kevin Staley is graduate of Benedict College in Columbia, SC with a focus in Music Education. He has a an enormous amount of experience teaching music lessons and performance experience. He has held the positions of Minister of Worship and Minster of Music at Beulah Grove Baptist Church.
Natalya Petrova has over 20 years experience with a focus in drums, piano, voice and guitar. She is a highly motivating educator of music and performance with a goal of meeting the needs of each individual student. She has has obtained her bachelors in music theory and percussion performance from the Kazakh National Academy of Music. Mrs. Natalya is proficient in multiple languages such as: English, Russian and Kazakh.
Rebecca Joseph received her bachelors of arts in music degree with a focus in voice from Benedict College. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Arts in Urban Youth Ministry in Philosophy from the Charlotte Christian College and Theology. Mrs. Rebecca enjoys teaching voice and is well knowledge in an array of vocal repertoire from classical, spirituals, musical theory, opera, pop and so much more!
Glaubirsel Figueroa has played violin for many years and has been in the Union Symphony Youth Orchestra (3 years). She has taught violin privately and in studio for one year. She teaches beginner and intermediate violin, and beginner piano. Her teaching method includes reading sheet music, finger and bowing technique, and music theory. She focuses on classical violin, but can teach other styles of music.
Travis Moore is a graduate of Norfolk State University of Norfolk, Va and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Travis is a passionate and energetic drum instructor and is capable of encouraging the student and inspiring them all at once. Many of students feel so accomplished and enthusiastic after their first lesson! In addition to teaching at NC Music Center, Travis also is a sought after percussion instructor for Universities and High schools throughout Charlotte. He currently holds the position of Head Percussion Coordinator at Johnson C. Smith University and also Harding High School.
